How to opt in

To opt in, text the keyword SMOG (or your city name, e.g. SMOG CARLSBAD) to (760) 825-SMOG — that's (760) 825-7664. This number also appears on this website, in shop window signage, on business cards, and on each location's Google Business Profile listing. Your customer-initiated inbound text is your opt-in. We never add a number without an explicit inbound text from that customer; we use no purchased lists and send no cold outbound messages.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from California Smog Check Network or any affiliated smog station.

What messages you'll receive

After you text in, we reply to answer questions about smog checks, pricing, hours, and scheduling, confirm walk-in visits, and (only after you have confirmed a visit) share a one-time in-store offer. Prior customers may receive a one-time biennial smog-cycle reminder based on the last inspection date on file.

Message frequency & rates

Message frequency varies based on your interaction; messages are not sent on a fixed schedule (prior-customer cycle reminders are limited to no more than 3 messages per 24-month cycle). Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out & help

Reply STOP at any time to opt out — you will receive one confirmation message and no further messages. Reply HELP for assistance. Contact: sam@calsmognetwork.com.
